Implant dentistry is the most advanced treatment to replace absent teeth. Dental implants can be used to replace a single lost tooth or many missing teeth. The implant is a small screw that be bonded with the jaw serving as a replacement for teeth and it is surgically placed into the jawbone. SBDC provides two different implant systems: Nobel Biocare and ADIN.
By having the implant surgery, patients can experience better life quality. The implantation resolves the problem of pain and discomfort caused by removable dentures.
The implants are surgically placed under local anaesthetic. After the surgery, it will have a healing cap attached and allow it to heal for 8-12 weeks. A temporary denture will also be given to fit over the implant during the healing period.
Why come to SBDC for implantation? In order to improve the preciseness of the implantation and the production of dentures, SBDC has started to digitalize dental techniques. We have brought in the up-to-date oral scanner, 3D computer implantation planner. We also use our 3D printer to print individual’s alveolar bone and surgical guide to improve the accuracy of the implantation and patient’s comfort.
Talking about the cosmetic dentistry, veneer is the most popular method. It causes the least damage to the natural teeth and provides the most effective result. Veneer is designed to replace chipped, broken or discolored teeth. It is a thin ceramic covering over the front of the teeth.

Our newly innovated world-class medical center was designed by Singapore interior design team, and also imported the most advacne dental facilities and sterilization unit, including 3D x-ray scan, dental washer disinfectior and Biopure purification system. SBDC has also set up a dental education center which we often host conferences to the public. We hope that by hosting these events, we are able to elevate the general public’s medical awareness. In addition, we often invite dental doctors from worldwise to share his/her research or study to our local dental doctors in Taiwan.
In 2013, Asia Dental Tourism Medical Alliance was organized by SBDC with various high-end dental centers from Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Manlia. ADTMA is designed to provide both businessmen and tourists with better dental treatment no matter where they are. We aim to sync with the world, creating the best dental center.
